aquanale 2021: Sector remains committed to Cologne

Market-leading companies have already announced they will take part with over a year to go before the start of the trade fair.

Although aquanale 2021 is not due to open for around another 15 months, the International Trade Fair for Sauna, Pool and Ambience is already registering numerous enquiries from the industry concerning participation. The sector’s clear commitment to aquanale and to Cologne as a location underlines the importance of the trade fair as an indispensable hub for business, networking and communication.

In the last 10 years, aquanale has become a global industry gathering – with a strong concept, strong content and, above all, strong, dedicated partners. The event’s co-location with FSB – International Trade Fair for Public Space, Sports and Leisure Facilities is unique worldwide, creating additional synergies to the advantage of all participants,” so says Oliver Frese, Chief Operating Officer of Koelnmesse.

As Bert Granderath, Vice President of the German Federal Association for Swimming Pools and Wellness (bsw), points out: “Koelnmesse has, first and foremost, proven to be a reliable partner that bases its decisions on the interests of the exhibitors and believes in fair play.”

Dr. Stefan Kannewischer, President of the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS) and a figure actively involved in issues relating to the construction of public swimming pools, also regards aquanale as the sector’s leading trade fair event: “Global challenges call for concepts that are suitable for international application. For operators and planners, Cologne is a source of wide-ranging ideas for the future of pool management.”

As a leading platform, the aquanale event scheduled for 26 to 29 October 2021 will play a key role in the post-coronavirus era. In Cologne, solutions and trends for a successful future will be presented, commercial relationships strengthened and ground prepared for the establishment of new business at an international level.

With over a year to go before the trade fair’s gates open, well-known industry players have already announced that they will be taking part in aquanale 2021: Behncke, Binder, Bünger & Frese, grando, G. Eichenwald, G quadrat, Herget, hobby-pool-technologies, Hugo Lahme, Meranus, Peraqua, Renolit, Rollo Solar, Schmalenberger, sopra, Speck Pumpen, swimroll, Whirlcare, WIBRE, Zodiac Pool Deutschland/Fluidra. In addition, Koelnmesse has received numerous enquiries from companies in Germany and abroad about booking stand areas or increasing the level of their participation.
